Shop Display System runs a rack manufacturing unit that supplies retail stores, supermarkets, warehouses and offices across Mumbai. We cut, bend and weld steel in-house, so a design change does not mean waiting on three different vendors — it just means calling us once.

How a Rack Order Actually Moves
We start with a site measurement or, if that is not possible, a floor plan and photos sent over WhatsApp. From there we work out bay sizes, load per shelf and the number of tiers, then send a quote with a drawing attached, not just a price on a page. Once you approve it, fabrication usually takes 5 to 10 days depending on quantity, followed by powder coating and installation.
Steel gauge depends on load: lighter retail racks are typically built from 18-20 gauge sheet, while pallet racking for heavier stock uses thicker box sections. We are happy to walk you through the specification before you sign off, especially if you are not sure how much weight a particular rack needs to hold.
Finish and Durability
Every rack goes through a degreasing and phosphating process before powder coating, which is what actually keeps rust away — paint alone does not do much in Mumbai's humidity. Standard colours are grey, blue and white, though we can match a brand colour if you send us a shade code.
